Craig has been active in multisport for over 12 years both as a coach and as participant. As an advocate of Training Bible philosophy Craig has consistently been a podium finisher at all distances through half-ironman. After just three years in the sport, he successfully completed the Hawaii Ironman. He managed to achieve these results while being an involved father of four, having a career requiring frequent travel and being an active volunteer in the community.

Craig's personal philosophy is: "Proper coaching can create an environment of success for an athlete and promote a healthy balance with family and career." His coaching strengths include: creating flexible schedules for the time-constrained athlete, developing improved running economy and improving swim technique. He believes that to get faster and achieve racing success you must train smarter not harder.

Craig's clients include a top seven world ranked athlete and the current top-ranking female in the Southeast, the tri club at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and many time-constrained age groupers.
